Heathcliff Andrew Ledger was born in Australia (Perth) on April 4, 1979 in the family of a teacher and a racing driver. The marriage of the parents broke up when the boy was 10 years old. Together with a friend, he moved to Sydney, where he received offers to star in the TV series “Sweat” (1996), and then in the film “Black Rock” (1997).
