Tony and Golden Globe Award winner Barry Bostwick first appeared on stage as a student at San Diego Theatre School in Take Her, She's Mine. He then moved to New York City, graduated from another theater school there, and made his Broadway debut starring in a production of "Cock-a-Doodle-Dandy."
He immediately received offers from various directors, and the first nomination for the Tony Award he received for the role of Danny Zuko in the Broadway production of Grease. After leaving for Canada for a while, the actor returned to Broadway in 1991.
Things are no less successful in the cinema. Barry Bostwick starred in the sequel to Bernie’s Weekend and director Luis Llosa’s 800 Leagues Down the Amazon.
Despite the great success of these and subsequent films, Barry Bostwick still prefers television and theater.
