English actress Kate Ashfield was born in the English town of Oldham on May 28, 1972. She became famous mainly due to the role of Jodie in the Anglo-German film Shopping for the Night and the role of Liz in the 2004 film Zombie Named Sean.
Kate studied at Rose Bruford College, where she regularly took part in productions of local theater.

In 2001, the film directed by Saul Metzstein “Shopping at Night” was released, where Kate played the role of Jodie. This light comedy about the vicissitudes of four friends against the background of a night supermodel and love adventures brought the actress special fame.
