He took part in concert front brigades (1942-45), performed together with Lidia Ruslanova. With the "Chinese number", as well as with the new - "Artist-momentalist", in which he drew cartoons on the audience, and "Musician" (played the clarinet and saw) - was hired in Mosconcert, where he worked until retirement in 1984.
In movies since 1931. The first role - in the film directed by Nikolai Ekka "Gorge of the Alamas". He starred in the films "Sergei Lazo", "Emergency - Emergency", "Gentlemen of luck", etc. (total starred in 52 films).
He died on August 16, 1998 in Moscow in his apartment on Petrovka street from adenoma. He was buried at the 34th site of the Vagankovo cemetery with his parents, sister and brother.
