Born on April 19, 1909 in St. Petersburg. Passed military service in the cavalry, worked as a sailor in tow in the Leningrad port. There was no special theatre school. He died on September 13, 1943 from typhus in Almaty, where the film studio was evacuated. Simultaneously with Blinov typhus, actress Sophia Magarill fell ill (died October 15, 1943), later (February 9, 1944) actor Nikolai Cherkasov-Sergeev died.
