She was born on August 13, 1921 in Moscow. In 1941 she entered the Lunacharsky State Institute of Theatre Art and immediately became an active member of the front-line concert brigade. In 1944, after graduation, she was accepted into the troupe of the Mossovet Theater and, already playing in performances, performed before the sailors of the Black Sea and Northern Flotillas. She played in the performances of such famous directors as Yu. A. Zavadsky, P. O. Chomsky, B. E. Shchedrin, R. G. Viktyuk, each of whom contributed to the formation of her acting talent. Her partners on the stage were V. P. Maretskaya, L. P. Orlova, F. G. Ranevskaya, G. S. Zhzhenov, L. V. Markov. B. V. Ivanov and other legendary theater actors.
People's Artist of the USSR (1991).
Knight of the Order of the “Red Banner of Labor”, among her eight medals of the medal “For Victory over Germany”, “For the Defense of Moscow”, “For Valiant Work in V.O.V.” and others.
She died on December 13, 2003 after a long illness.
