Famous Soviet actress of theater and cinema, performer of the role of the teacher of Russian language and literature Svetlana Afanasievna in the film “Big change”, was born on April 8, 1948 in Leningrad. Since childhood, Natasha Bogunova dreamed of becoming a ballerina, long and persistently preparing for admission to the Leningrad Choreographic School.
While still studying at school, she took part in mass scenes in the Mariinka, dancing in a group of snowflakes and butterflies. There she was noticed by the director I. Talankin and invited to the role of little Vali in his film “Introduction” (1963). After that, there was a more serious work in the film Goodbye, Boys (1964) directed by M. Kalik. Natalia Bogunova was then 15 years old, shooting took place for more than 6 months in Evpatoria, the lack of constant choreography classes led to the loss of form. With his favorite school and dreams of ballet had to part.
After passing exams in high school, Natalia Bogunova goes to Moscow and submits documents at once to all theater schools and institutes. They take her to the famous VGIK, to the course of the legendary actor - performer of the role of Chapaev, Boris Andreevich Babochkin. In the first year of VGIK Natalia Bogunova took part in the filming of the film “Running on the waves” based on the novel by A. Green. Shooting took place in Bulgaria and B. Babochkin even allowed the young student to be late for the start of classes to finish shooting. Unfortunately, this film, after the emigration of its director A. Galich, was put on the shelf and unjustifiably forgotten.
But the real fame came to Natalia Bogunova after the release in 1972-1973. on the television screens of one of the first Soviet 4-episode films “Big Change”. In it, she brilliantly played the role of a teacher of Russian language and literature in the evening school, and at the same time the wife of her own student, reckless hooligan Ganzhi, performed by Alexander Zbruev. The subsequent main role of the Bride in the film “Smart Things” directed by A. Granik was her last serious work in big cinema. Several episodic roles, and after "Running on the sunny side" (1992) Natalia Bogunova in the big movie is not removed.
She worked a lot at the Mossovet Theater, where she entered immediately after graduating from VGIK. The stage of this theater, she forever gave 17 years of her creative life, combining work here with filming in the cinema.
Now Natalia Bogunova is on a well-deserved rest, but has not lost her strength and energy. I work on myself, hope for destiny, work on myself, go to the pool, do programs and perform with them ... both look and try to live and God forbid ... so that I have a creative work, interesting, and that it was spiritual, spiritual food for me as an actress. Lord, I beseech you to do so.” /
