Frank Oz was born in Hereford England. When he was five years old, his parents emigrated to the United States. At the convention of puppeteers in California Frank Oz met Jim Henson and Henson was simply shocked by the ability Oza. He almost immediately wanted to hire Frank and had to wait until he finished school. In 1963, FrankOz joined the "Muppets show" and became one of the greatest puppet masters of our time. Since then Oz is trying his hand and in great directing - the film "Horror Shop" above any praise.
