The Lost Prince is based on real events that occurred on the eve of the First World War in the British royal family.
After a family visit of the royal family of the Romanovs, the youngest son of the Crown Prince of Britain George V John is in high spirits, Russian cousins made an indelible impression on the boy. However, the young prince was always different from his peers. John perceives people and the world around him in a slightly different way, only the only person who understands this, his beloved grandfather, King Edward VII of Great Britain. But after the death of his grandfather, the boy begins to have seizures, and after examining the doctors, the young prince is diagnosed with epilepsy. In order to hide the Prince’s serious illness from the public, he and his nanny are sent to a remote estate in Windsor.
