Lyudmila Chursina is a famous Russian and Soviet actress who starred in theater and cinema. She was born on July 20, 1941. Her father was a military man, so the family moved frequently. They spent a lot of time in Georgia. In 1959, she graduated from school in Velikie Luki, receiving a gold medal. By the way, the actress admits that as a child she was a bully, so she often received poor marks for her behavior, which cannot be said about her overall academic performance. She was particularly good at physics and mathematics.
Then she went to the capital to enter MAI. She never thought about acting. She was more attracted to technical specialties. However, she, along with her friend, went immediately to 3 educational institutions of theatrical orientation: VGIK, GITIS and Shchukin School. In the end, Lyudmila chose to go to school. In 1963, she graduated and began working in the theater.
In 1965, she was invited to shoot in the Lenfilm film studio. Other roles in various films followed:
"The Tale of Tsar Peter Arapa Married" .
"Long road in the dunes" .
"Ugly River" .
After the role in “Crow” the actress was awarded a prize abroad and invited to act in Hollywood. She had a serious job: the contract was designed for 3 years and involved in 15 films. However, that proposal was rejected. What caused it is still a mystery. On the one hand, the woman herself was not enthusiastic about life in a different language environment, and on the other hand, the authorities were against moving.
After some time, the actress pulled on the theatrical stage. Since 1974, she began working in the Pushkin Theatre. After 10 years, she changed theater, as she was offered more tempting roles.
In recent years, the actress began to appear very rarely. She spends more time in the theater.
The actress was married 3 times: first - for the director of the film "Don story", then - for an oceanologist and for the third time - for a diplomat.
