He was born on March 17, 1933. Graduated from the Leningrad State Institute named after A. N. Ostrovsky. He worked in BDT, and then in Lenconcert, as a reader. He read French lyrics, poetry of the Italian Renaissance, made compositions of Soviet poetry, the original editing of “Little Tragedies” by Pushkin. He died in 1987, falling down the stairs, rushing to his premiere of Block's poetry evening. .
