Perhaps it is wonderful if fate allows you to return again and again to your favorite business, enriched by experience and knowledge of other professions.
Pretty Leningrad schoolboy Volodya Shevelkov (born in 1961) assistants "Lenfilm" more than once invited to act, but he - an ordinary boy, fond of sports and poetry, and not fond of studying - always refused.
After school, Vladimir Shevelkov entered the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute, and it was this admission that brought him to the cinema. One of the teachers suggested Shevelkov to call “Lenfilm”, where there was a selection of performers for the main roles.
The film "I ask you to blame Klava K for my death." Vladimir successfully passed the casting, starred, and became famous. A little later he played in the films “The Adventures of Prince Florisel”, “Grandma’s Grandson”, “My father had three sons”.
In 1980, he became a student of VGIK, but at the same time continues to act actively:
"For no apparent reason" (Red). E Tatarsky,
(I. Voznesensky, 1983),
"European History" I. Guestev. By the time of graduation, Shevelkov had 15 roles in the asset, but work on the set practically left no time for classes, and he almost remained without a diploma.
A real triumph for Vladimir Shevelkov was participation in the film
"Guardians, go!" However, Shevelkov himself was dissatisfied with his role, perhaps this later became the reason for the fact that he did not have a role.
film "Vivat, midshipmen!" Prince Olenin was played by another actor.
Starring in one or another film, Shevelkov continued to write poems (which he still does not show anyone) and dream of directing. It was a difficult time for cinema, many actors could not stand it, went into "cooperation". Vladimir tried himself in a new field: for six months he stood at the bar in the cafe, which belonged to his brother, and then returned to the field of art. But not in the cinema, but in the advertising business - on Leningrad television.
Shevelkov realized that it is advertising that gives the opportunity to engage in directing and acting, create presentations and so on.
Shevelkov created the advertising agency DA&N, and then the company Production Centre; on his account about 500 commercials, many of which are “spun” abroad. He shot music videos, the most famous of them with participation
film "Opera". Homicide Chronicles" . /
