In 1968, Vladimir Degtyarev conceived to make a small informative cartoon for children based on the children's book by the Norwegian writer, poet and composer Alpha Pruysen "About a goat who could count to ten." So came the light of an informative puppet cartoon for the youngest viewers, which tells about how good it is to be educated and, in particular, to be able to count.
The characters were voiced by such famous artists as Georgy Vitsin, Anatoly Papanov and others. And Kozlenka speaks with the voice of Klara Rumyanova, an honored artist of the RSFSR, known primarily for voicing characters of more than 300 cartoons (most of which are Soviet).
Woe to skill
The main character of the cartoon Degtyarev is a smart Goat, who recently learned to count. Once, walking through the forest, Goat saw his reflection in a puddle and counted himself: “I am one!” Nearby he was quietly chewing calf grass. Interested in what was happening, he asked Kozlenka what he was doing. The goat replied that he considered himself, and then offered to count him. At first he agreed, but then he got scared because he didn’t know what the bill was. The goat counted the interlocutor, and he roared with fright so that his mother Cow came running.
Not figuring out what the matter is, with a cry, "I'll show you how to make fun of the elders." The cow went to the calf, who counted her. The poor man had to flee. So they chased Goatlunk until they met the Bull. When the Goat counted him, the Bull became furious, and the clever young man had to run away from the three.
Fleeing from the pursuers, Goat along the way counted and other animals that came across him in the way. And each of them was terribly angry that he was counted, believing that the Goat encroached on the freedom of honest animals with his account. The bull said that no one gave the baby the right to count him, the cow and other animals. And all because the ignorant animals were afraid of everything unknown. Since they didn’t go to school, they didn’t know much. Therefore, even a banal account caused fear, indignation and other negative emotions in them.
Salvation is in knowledge
After the company of pursuers was joined by the Horse and the Pig, Kozlenok got to the pier and ran aboard the ferry, on which there were crew members - Cat, Dog, Baran and Captain Goose. The pursuers rushed for the fugitive, also running on board, after which the ladder fell into the water and the ferry departed from the shore.
The ship began to sink and Goose said the ferry could hold ten passengers. Since only Goat could count from those present, he counted all of them, including the crew members. When it turned out that there were exactly ten people on board, the sailboat stopped sinking, and the rescued animals began to praise the baby.
In the end, Goat got a job on the pier controller, counting all who are going to climb the ship. And Calf, who learned how it turns out to be useful (and not at all painful) to be able to count, went to school. close

Did you know that film travel club can be an extreme show that takes place right in your home? Or what is the best way to achieve justice in the housing and bazaar, sitting in your own tank? Or maybe you want to hear the incomparable “Tale of the bomber”, which almost flew into the air due to an oversight in miscalculations?

A philosophical and poetic portrait of the famous (or maybe infamous?) Baron Munchhausen. His crazy, yet very merriment, stories, views and behavior is what sets him apart from others. He becomes alienated from the society that failed to grasp his brilliance. In fact, his brilliance is what underlines the faults with the society itself. It's a beautiful yet tragic story that is filled with dense and intellectual dialogue. close

A Soviet cult cartoon, so untypical for a Western viewer, especially, a little one. A boy named Malysh ("A Little One") suffers from solitude being the youngest of the three children in a Swedish family. The acute sense of solitude makes him desperately want a dog, but before he gets one, he "invents" a friend - the very Karlson who lives upon the roof. So typical for the Russian culture spirit of mischief, which is, actually, never punished, and the notion that relative welfare not necessarily means happiness made the book by Astrid Lindgren and its TV adaptations tremendously popular in the Soviet Union and nowadays Russia and vice versa - somewhat alienated to the Western reader and viewer (see User's comments below). However, both the book and the cartoon are truly universal - entertaining and funny for the children and thought-provoking and somewhat sad for grownups. close
