In the “big movie” Cuaron got in 1991, when he began working on several Latin American TV series and shot his debut film – “Love in a time of hysteria”. The comedy was enthusiastically received by the Mexican public and gained popularity around the world. The work made an indelible impression on Sidney Pollack, who after her filming invited Alfonso Cuaron to participate in the work on the series “Fallen Angels” (1993).
Before working on the famous film “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”, Cuaron shot a number of interesting films of different genres. Among them are the classic novel “The Little Princess” (1995), the modern version of “Great Hopes” (1998), the Spanish-language provocative and contradictory picture “And Your Mother Too” (2001).
