The show has been criticized for not disclosing the list of donors even if the show is considered "public" broadcasting. In 2007, the video archive of past interviews was added to the website for free viewing. In a partnership with Google, nearly 4000 hours of video was added to Google Video including complete hour-long episodes as they originally aired. The videos are now unavailable after Google Video shut down.

The Big Breakfast was a British light entertainment television show shown on Channel 4 and S4C each weekday morning from 28 September 1992 until 29 March 2002 during which period 2,482 shows were produced. The Big Breakfast was produced by Planet 24, the production company co-owned by former Boomtown Rats singer and Live Aid organiser Bob Geldof.
The programme was distinctive for broadcasting live from former lockkeepers' cottages commonly referred to as "The Big Breakfast House", or more simply, "The House", located on Fish Island, in Bow in east London.
The show was a mix of news, weather, interviews, audience phone-ins and general features, with a light tone which was in competition with the more serious GMTV and even more serious BBC breakfast programmes. close

George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight is a Canadian television talk show broadcast on CBC Television and hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos. Originally known more
George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight is a Canadian television talk show broadcast on CBC Television and hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos. Originally known as The Hour from 2005 to 2010, it first broadcast on 17 January 2005. The programme is currently initially broadcast on CBC Television at 7:00 p.m. local time.
As The Hour, the show was so named, as it was a daily one hour program. For the show's seventh season, the show was renamed and shortened into a daily half-hour show, George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, beginning September 20, 2010. In September 2011, the program was again extended to one hour with its current name. It returned to a half-hour for the 2012-13 season and moved to 7:00 p.m., along with a late-night encore that moved to 11:30 p.m. due to the expansion of late local news at several of the CBC's major market stations.
The show's opening theme song is "The Good in Everyone" by Canadian rock band Sloan. It replaced the formerly used track, "Use It" from The New Pornographers at the start of the 2008 broadcast season. close
