Returning to his homeland, Louis with Luc Besson was engaged in the production of advertising for the company L'Orial, which produces cosmetics and for the Internet Club. He also participated in the creation of the film “Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc” and the comedy film “Asterix and Obelix: The Mission of Cleopatra” directed by Alain Schab.
In 2002, Leterrier directed the energetic action movie The Carrier, in which Jason Statham played the main role. Louis shared directing duties with Corey Yuen, a director and actor from Hong Kong.
