John Ritter was born in the American city of Burbank on September 17, 1948.
Hollywood high school, which the future actor graduated, was later named after him. After receiving secondary education, John entered the University of Southern California, where he studied psychology and architecture.

In 1971, John first appeared on the big screen in the comedy “The Barefoot Leader”.
For his role as Jack Tripper, whom he played from 1977 to 1984 in the television series Three in Company, Ritter was nominated for Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.
He is well remembered for the roles of Detective Hupperman in the TV series “Hupperman”, Vog Cunningham in the film “Honed Blade”, films.

His comedy talent was most fully revealed in the comedy series 8 Rules for a Friend of My Teenage Daughter, which aired from 2002 to 2005 and for work in which the actor was once again nominated for an Emmy, however, posthumously. He tried himself as a producer.
John Ritter did not live to see his 55th birthday. Suddenly, during filming, he became ill on the set, he was taken to St. Seer Joseph's Hospital, where doctors tried to do their best, but his heart couldn't stand it. On September 11, 2003, the actor died.
