In 1931 he organized a studio where he directed and taught. In the theater, one of the best roles of Alexei Diky - General Gorlov in the play Korneychuk "Front" (1942). In the movie, the actor starred since 1919 - in the film "What were you?" he played the role of drummer Ivan Soty. He gained fame by creating images of M.I. Kutuzov (“Kutuzov”) and P.S. Nakhimov (“Admiralov Nakhimov”), as well as I.Stalin in a number of films. One of the best films by Alexei Diky is the role of surgeon Vasily Vasilyevich in the film The Tale of a Real Man (1948), based on the novel of the same name by Boris Polevy.
