Born in Novosibirsk. In his youth he was fond of boxing and water polo. I started writing songs at the age of 14. In the army he served in border troops in Kamchatka. After the army he entered the Kiev Institute of National Economy (branch in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine), graduating from it, worked at the Domodedovo carpet factory. In 1992 he got a job in the production center of Igor Matvienko. In the same year he entered GITIS for the department of pop directing for I.G. Sharoev and created his own musical group “Numbers”. In 1999 he released his first album BirdLove (ALBA Records). In 1999, director Pavel Ursul invited him to his acclaimed theatrical project “Chapaev and the Void” and since then Dmitry began his acting career. He plays in the theater and acts in movies. He writes music for plays and movies. His hobby is to write parodies for famous parodists. Continues to work in the genre of "Russian chanson".
