In the early 1980s, Kirk became vice president of RKO Pictures Inc. In 1985, he married Francine Lefrack, the daughter of a major real estate owner and television producer. The marriage lasted several years, but allowed Kirk to start a successful career in film. He has been actively engaged in filming since the late 1980s.
In 1999, Kirk founded the production company Myriad Pictures, specializing in the creation and distribution of television and film productions. To date, the number of films created by this company include “Jeepers Creepers 2”, “Dr. Kinsey”, “Jim with Piccadilly”, three parts of the film “The Party King”, the critically acclaimed film in two parts “The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby”, nominated for an Oscar for the screenplay thriller.
