He was born on May 6, 1926 in the village of Silver Ponds, Moscow region. In 1952 he graduated from the School-Studio at the Moscow Art Theatre, the course of I.M. Raevsky. 1952-1958 – actor of the Central Theatre of Transport. Since 1958 - actor MHAT. In the cinema since 1954 (the first role - Lieutenant Korolkov in the film "Sea Hunter"). Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969). The first performer of songs "Anxious youth" (1958) and "Hope" (1972, Alexandra Pakhmutova and Nikolai Dobronravova). He died on May 24, 1991.
