Milo was born in 1926 in Dublin, Ireland. His versatile talents made themselves felt in his early youth: in school plays, O'Shea was everything in the world - actor, administrator, director, designer. The teenager also sang well and played the piano. Later, Milo O'Shea, already claiming the professionalism of the actor, became an indispensable participant in productions at the Dublin Gate Theatre and the Abbey Theatre.
For some time, Milo O'Shea was known only in his native Ireland and Great Britain, but in 1967 he came to international recognition: in the film by Joseph Strick based on the novel by James Joyce "Ulysses" he brilliantly played Leopold Bloom.
At the age of 42, Milo O'Shea no less successfully played a major role in Romeo and Juliet, and this was followed by work on new characters - Duran Duran in the film by Roger Vadim.

Having lived a full-fledged creative life, Milo O'Shea maintained friendly relations with colleagues in the film "Romeo and Juliet": work on this classic project made the film crew and actors one family.
