Cheslav Nikolaevich Sushkevich is a Soviet theater and film actor. He was born in Saratov on September 1, 1918. Since childhood, he loved theatrical art and decided to become a theater actor, for which in 1935 he came to study at the school, which was opened at the Meyerhold Theatre. But in 1938, this institution was closed, so that Czeslav could not finish his studies, since 1939 he became an artist of the Leningrad Comedy Theater. Cheslav Nikolaevich Sushkevich is a Soviet theater and film actor.
He was born in Saratov on September 1, 1918. Since childhood, he loved theatrical art and decided to become a theater actor, for which in 1935 he came to study at the school, which was opened at the Meyerhold Theatre. But in 1938, this institution was closed, so that Czeslav could not finish his studies, since 1939 he became an artist of the Leningrad Comedy Theater.
Meanwhile, back in 1937, his first film experience took place – the young actor played the role of a young lyceumist Alexander Gorchakov, a friend of Pushkin in the film “Youth of the Poet”. The debut was so successful that Sushkevich’s feat continued to act in films. From 1940 he joined the staff of the Soyuzdetfilm studio, from 1945 to 1951 he played in the Screen Actor Theatre, for some time he was among the actors sent to the Theatre of the Group of Soviet Troops, stationed in Austria. Since the late 1950s, Czeslav Nikolayevich again quite a lot of filmed, where he appeared mainly in small, episodic roles. Among these paintings is drama.
