The film collection consists of three novels, united by a narrative about the actions of the Soviet military unit. The contents of one of the documents found in the fascist headquarters are the plot basis of the novella “Kvartal No. 14”. The novella “Blue Rocks” reproduces the story of a Czech girl saved by Soviet soldiers. The operation of the military unit for landing is the content of the final novella “Lighthouse”.
Quarter 14. Occupied Poland. The night silence of a small Polish town is disrupted by a pistol shot – a Polish worker killed a German officer. The order of the fascist command reads: to cordon off quarter 14, in the area of which the murder occurred, to line up all residents and shoot every tenth if the culprit is not extradited. . .
Blue Rocks. In one district of Czechoslovakia, an uprising broke out against the occupiers. The German command threw part of its troops to suppress the uprising. Two trucks packed with German soldiers set off towards the rebellious town. These cars were driven by two Czech patriots, a father and a son. A mined bridge appeared in front. .
Lighthouse. For the successful conduct of the landing operation, the Soviet command sends a scout-seaman to the place of the planned landing. The guide is a teenage fisherman, a local resident. The boy brings the sailor to his mother's house. A benchmark for paratroopers are the lantern signals given by a brave scout. The Germans can detect the signal. . close

The year is 1880. On the outskirts of the fictional small Scottish town of Levenford there stands a strange building, half cottage, half castle, embraced with thick stone walls. The townsfolk nickname the fortress "Hatter's Castle", for James Brodie, the man who built it. Brodie is a hatter who keeps the members of the family in fear and submission; he is brutal, arrogant, selfish and cruel. His wife, who has long been ailing, and his daughter Mary, are in awe of him. His son Angus, aged 15, alone dear to his heart, suffers under his love as the others suffer under his sternness. close

The film collection consists of two novels:
"A priceless head." In the occupied Polish city, the German invaders are looking for the patriot Józek Grochowski, who commits bold anti-fascist sabotage. Those who report the whereabouts of Grokhovsky, the Nazis promise a reward of 5,000 marks. There's poverty and hunger in the city. One day, hiding from the Nazis, Jozek gets into the apartment of a Polish woman whose daughter dies of starvation. Grokhovsky suggests that the woman inform the Nazis about him, since the house is surrounded and his capture is still inevitable.
