Sergey Kayumovich Shakurov was born on January 1, 1942 in Moscow. His father was known in the capital as a hunter. After graduating from a studio school, Sergey Shakurov began working at the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, and a year later he was accepted into the troupe of the Central Academic Theater of the Soviet Army.
In the movie Sergey Shakurov made his debut in 1966, starring immediately in the leading role in the film by M. Zacarias “I am a soldier, mother”. Fame brought the actor the role of Zabelin in the film by Nikita Mikhalkov “His own among strangers, a stranger among his own” (1974) and pioneer leader Sergei Solovyov in the film “One Hundred Days After Childhood” (1974). Of Shakurov’s other works in the 70s, it is worth noting the role of Spiridon Solomin in the film by Andron Konchalovsky “Siberiad” and the title role in E. Rostan’s play “Cyrano de Bergerac”, staged at the Stanislavsky Theatre, where the actor moved in the late 70s and where he worked until 1987.
Sergey Shakurov starred a lot in movies, among his acting successes - a television film based on the novel by the Weiner brothers "A Visit to the Minotaur", where he performed two roles - Mura investigator Stas Tikhonov and Antonio Stradivarius; "Friend" Leonid Kvinikhidze, where on the set Shakurov's partner, who played the alkash Kolyunya, was a dog Ut; "Dog Feast", in which the actor played together with Natalia Gundareva.
