Actor Valery Aleksandrovich Malyshev was born on July 5, 1940 in the small village of Textiles near Moscow.
His father, Alexander Rodionovich Malyshev, worked as an engineer at the searchlight factory, his mother, Varvara Fedorovna (Shitakova), after graduating from the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography, was directly involved in the working project for the construction of the city of Sochi.
The sudden collapse of the news of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War in June 1941 changed the plans, dreams and fates of millions of people in the Soviet Union. Valeria's father went as a soldier to the front. Little Valery had to endure hardships, because he was a little over a year old at that time. In March 1944, the family of Valery Malyshev received a funeral for his father, he died near Kerch. In 1945, Valeria's mother married for the second time.
From an early age, Valery loved to visit the Builder cinema, where historical and military films were shown. It was here that the boy forgot about the problems of post-war life, glared at the screen and tried to take an example from the legendary heroes. Even in school years, Valery attended the amateur activity circle. After that, there were classes at the Theater-Studio at the AZLK plant.
In 1960, Valery Malyshev handed over the documents for admission to four theater institutes, but luck smiled at him only in VGIK. He was on the same course with Zhanna Bolotova, Evgeny Zharikov, Tatiana Gavrilova, Sergei Nikonenko, Galina Polskikh, Olga Lysenko.

In 1962, Sergey Gerasimov invited Valery to play in the film People and Animals. In 1964, Valery Malyshev, after graduating from VGIK, entered the theater of the film actor. On the stage of this theater, the actor took part in many performances: “Russian people”, “Every autumn evening”, “Dubravins”, “Space distance” and many others.
In the mid-eighties, restructuring began in the country, it did not pass by the cinema. Films about prostitution, drug addiction, speculation began to appear on screens more and more often. Actors, refusing such roles, began to resign.
In 2005, Valery Malyshev starred in his latest film, Queen Olga, as Patriarch Mikhail.
The actor died on November 29, 2006. /
