Pavel Mikhailovich was born on June 22, 1911. He studied at the art technical school of Leningrad, where after graduation in 1931 he came to BDT, having served there for 5 years. In 1936 he joined the staff of the Akimov Theatre, becoming one of the favorites of Nikolai Akimov. In the year of war and blockade together with the troupe was in evacuation in Tajikistan, then returned to the city on the Neva.
Since 1936, the artist often starred in films. The audience most remembered for the roles of cousin Benedict in the adventure film “Fifteen-year-old Captain”, and the director of the circus Nikita Antonovich from the comedy
"Tiger Tamer" .
The actor died on January 1, 1974.
