In 1972 he graduated from the camera faculty of VGIK, the workshop of A. Golovni. In 1967, Pavel Lebeshev as a production operator took part in
Creation of the film by Andrei Smirnov “Angel”, which was released only twenty years later. Lebeshev’s first notable work was Andrei Smirnov’s drama “Belarusian Station”.
