Andrei Rostotsky was born in Moscow on January 25, 1957 in the family of a famous director. Stanislav Rostotsky . Ilya Freza "We didn't get through that." Since then, the actor has played mainly in heroic adventure and military films, where he has dozens of diverse roles. If we talk about his preferences, the study of Russian history, in particular Russian officers, and the history of the army, as well as his love of martial arts and weapons greatly influenced both his life and television activities.
In 1994, Andrey Rostotsky organized the film company "DAR", the name of which is an abbreviation of the phrase "Friends of Andrei Rostotsky".
Since 1995, he began his active work on television, where Andrei participates in the creation of cycles of historical and journalistic programs dedicated to the Russian and Russian army. During this period, he worked as the main director of the program “Aty-baty...” (1995-96), the leading military-historical magazine “I See the Target” (1998), as well as roles in the films “Right on the Field of Battle”, “Arms of Powers” and “Snipers”.
Since 2000, Rostotsky has been teaching acting courses at the Institute of Contemporary Art, and since February 2001 a new project – “Serve Russia” – has been published, where he acts as a presenter.
Andrei Rostotsky is a candidate for master of sports in equestrian triathlon, an excellent specialist in stage fencing with historical weapons, in addition, in 1991 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR.
Artist and director Andrei Rostotsky tragically died on May 5, 2002 during the filming of the TV movie “My Border”.
