Born November 20, 1936 in the village of Babstovo, Leninsky district, Khabarovsk Territory. In 1960 he graduated from the Shchepkin Moscow Theatre School at the Maly Theatre, a course (possibly) of Vladimir Bagratovich Monakhov. After graduation he worked at the Lenin Komsomol Theatre, the Pushkin Theatre. Since 1964 - actor of the Ermolova Theatre. He worked with directors Vladimir Andreev, Faina Verigina, Valery Fokin, Andrey Zhitinkin, Alexei Levinsky, Galina Dubovskaya. Honored Artist of Russia
