Grandma's comedic talent was inherited by Margarita. The girl liked to copy adults, arrange fun pranks, liked to parody - teachers, director. And at the end of the 10th grade, the girlfriends advised: “You are so funny – go to the artist.” As a child, Krinitsyn dreamed of being a lawyer. As she explained, “Because when we played with the guys, they hid and I always found them.” From Moldova, where the family came after the war after his father, from the city of Balti Margarita went to conquer Moscow. In VGIK, the girl laughed the whole admissions committee: she could not sing, but she sang, she could not dance. And it was all very funny.
Her talent made a lasting impression - Krinitsyn was enrolled not only in the All-Union Institute of Cinematography, but also in the Vakhtangov School - one of the best theater schools in the country. Margaret preferred the movie. But throughout her life, the mention of an untapped opportunity to become a theater actress is painful in her heart. . .
Even at the institute, in the fourth year, she married a former front-line soldier, a talented Ukrainian screenwriter Yevgeny Onopryenka (“Only “old men” go into battle). After graduating in 1955, she received a distribution in the Moscow theater of the film actor.
Since 1959, she has lived in Kiev.
After “Two rabbits” with Oleg Borisov, Krinitsina had excellent relations both on and off the set: later they maintained relations for a long time, called back. Borisov even invited her to the Theatre named after L. Ukrainka, believing that there are no sharp actresses. But Krinitsina did not take it, saying: “We “quot” Vgikovtsev “not take”. On the fate of the performer of the main role, the picture affected ambiguously: on the one hand, brought unprecedented fame, on the other hand, trouble. Margarita Krinitsina: The famous I did not wake up, on the contrary, depressed. The daughter said: “Mom, you are so terrible!”, the husband indignant: “It was necessary to disfigure yourself so much!”, and tried not to watch this film again. Incomparable Prokopovna - Margarita Krinitsina, in fact, became an actress of one role, although she has more than seventy roles. Because of the role of a characteristic actress, Krinitsina almost lost the main role in the film “Diplomats involuntarily”, where she was to play the chairwoman: famous figures of culture of Ukraine sent a letter to Goskino, which said that Margarita Vasilyevna does not meet the ideal of a Ukrainian woman – “not naughty”. With the approval for the role helped the Minister of cinema Bolshakov. In the late 70s, Krinitsyn starred in the film “Presents victory” (1978), which lay on the shelf for a long time. Despite some successes, in general, the career of the actress did not develop. “Having glued the label ‘comedy actress’, it was as if I had been sentenced,” Krinitsyn recalled. She was not invited to dramatic roles, but for many years she was not given comedic roles. All further roles in Margarita Krinitsina were, albeit in very popular films, but all as one episodic – “Widedays of the Criminal Investigation”, “Green Van”.
One of the best theatrical works of the actress was the play "Woman with a flower and windows to the north" in the theater-studio of the actor in Kiev. The role of Aelita was a huge success with the audience, many critics wrote about her. But even after this new roles on the stage did not follow, and Margarita left the theater.
She passed away on October 10, 2005.
Buried in Baikovsky Cemetery.
On August 23, 1999, on the Andreevsky descent in Kiev, a monument was solemnly opened, in bronze crowning the heroes of the film “Behind two rabbits” Pronya and Svirid Golokhvostoy (V. Shchur, V. Sivko; Arch. V. Skulsky, R. Kukharenko). Heroes Krinitsina and Borisov forever froze on the scene – opposite St. Andrew’s Church.
The daughter of actress Alena Surina, like her father, became a screenwriter (“Flowers from the Winners”, “Spartak and Kalashnikov”), lives and works in Moscow for more than twenty years.
