If Viktor Pavlovich Pavlov did not feel the attraction of the acting profession, he would certainly become an ornithologist - he was very fond of birds, and his white pigeons still circle the Maly Theater. It seemed to Pavlov that these winged creatures store the souls of actors who served the theater, and, if so, his soul found refuge in one of the winged creatures.
Viktor Pavlov was born a year before the war, in Moscow, on the famous Arbat Sivtsev Vrazhka, associated with the names of prominent writers. There are no accidents in life: the children of Arbat are endowed with special fates. Vague childhood memories of wartime were replaced by bright and joyful events for Victor - the return home of his father, a visit to the theater, which Pavlov the elder loved passionately, the chirping and whistling of the Bird Market, where Vitya could disappear for hours.
Before entering the school of the Maly Theater named after M.S. Shchepkin (1959), Pavlov mastered the profession of a locksmith and a radio installer, while playing in a drama circle. In Shchepkinsky, the student’s teachers were Vera Nikolaevna Pashennaya and Nikolai Alexandrovich Annenkov, who helped to realize Pavlov’s creative individuality.
In 1963, Viktor Pavlovich Pavlov was invited to the troupe of the theater “Contemporary”, where his ability to play both comedic and lyrical roles was revealed (Christians in “The Naked King”, Ogorodnikov in “Big Sister”, Zaitsev in “Eternally Living”). Improving himself, the actor periodically changed the scene: after the "Contemporary" worked in the Theater named after Yermolova, Mayakovsky, State Academic Maly Theater. In the fourth year, the actor made his film debut, with which he did not part until the very end. His first works were films.
When the trees were big And Seven Winds.
Creativity mature Pavlov, whether the main or secondary roles, is always associated with the rebellion of his hero, unwillingness to put up with injustice, hostility, falsehood. That's his Levchenko in
Picture "The meeting place cannot be changed" , through the fault of misfortune joined the bandits, strict and comic Cats in
film "Guardians, go!" , who faithfully serves his dubious principles, the head of the warehouse in the military tape "In August of the 44th".
Pavlov was able to play very sincerely, deeply and soulfully - to tears and laughter, without sparing himself, making the viewer think and feel. And in life he was lyrical, somewhat naive and still devoted to childhood love of birds, fishing, drawing. Next to him was always his wife Tatiana, whose appearance he often sought to convey in watercolors. In the arms of his beloved Tanya, Viktor Pavlovich died: once his heart, which experienced so many emotions, failed.
Farewell to the People's Artist of Russia, Viktor Pavlovich Pavlov, August 28, 2006. He was only 66 years old. /
