Maxim Maximovich Strauch was born on February 24, 1900 in Moscow. In 1921-24, the actor worked in the 1st Workers' Theater of Proletkult, and since 1932 - in the Moscow Theater of Revolution (later Mayakovsky Theater). In the cinema for the first time starred in the short film-attraction “Glumov’s Diary”.
