Gifted Soviet artist Vera Markovna Orlova played many roles in cinema and theater. She is known for her very first role as Lisa Karaseva from the comedy tape. Twins and a number of other projects. It was born on May 25, 1918 in the Ukrainian Ekaterinoslav (today the city is called Dnepropetrovsk). Even in school years, she was fond of amateur creativity, in 1941 she graduated from the school at the Theater of the Revolution, since 1942 she has devoted more than three decades to the Mayakovsky Theater.

In the last years of her life, the artist was sick. She died on September 16, 1993 at the age of 75.
