The film “Pechorin” is based on the novel by Mikhail Lermontov “Hero of our time”. The authors deliberately depart from the classical canons, and take as a basis the phrase thrown by Pechorin in a conversation with Maxim Maksimych - they say, he will go to Persia, where, quite likely, he will die on the road. Based on these words Pechorin, the film director Roman Khrushch and builds his narrative.
Pechorin (Stanislav Rudinsky), being at death, remembers about his life, about those meetings that were in it, and about the mistakes that he made. The film presents all the main storylines of the novel and its characters: Maxim Maksimych (Alexander Korshunov), Grushnitsky (Ilya Shcherbinin), Werner (Dmitry Podnozov), Mary (Barbarbara Sudets), Vera (Roxana Kadyrova. The past mercilessly invades the memories of the dying hero of the film, and makes him bitterly regret his mistakes. Being on his deathbed, Pechorin unwittingly rethinks everything he lived, finally realizing how meaningless his game with life was. close
